Here’s what’s been on my mind this week:

MySpace couple finds a woman willing to give them her child for adoption.

Less than two months after making national
news by posting their adoption plea on MySpace.com, a couple desperate
for a baby girl says they’ve found a birth mother.

Sherry and
Karl Dittmar, who gained kudos and scorn for bypassing traditional
adoption avenues and searching for an infant girl on the social
networking site, say they’ve connected with an unidentified Metro
Detroit woman who has verbally agreed to give them her daughter upon
her birth in July.

Eggrolls Etc. change racist menu

The Tucson Chinese Association took offense to a controversial menu. And then, they took action.

The
words on the menu for Eggrolls Etc. infuriated some. Under fried rice,
it said "flied lice and Chinese speech." Another section stated, "Every
order is delivered via rickshaw by first generation Chinese
immigrants."
