Daniel Henney Digs Into Own Life for New Movie
The movie “My Father” drew attention even before it started shooting because it stars the half-Korean heartthrob Daniel Henney. The film follows a Korean adopted by an American family who comes to Korea to seek out his biological parents, only to find that his father is on death row.

  1. I’m more interested in seeing the reaction of the audience than the movie itself. I know that this is just a movie but it brings up all sorts of questions for me. Do Koreans really see dramatic entertainment in us returning and finding out something tragic about the birthfamily? Or is it more of a morality message from the filmmakers to the Korean audience? I was rather put off hearing about this movie thinking that it was going to romanticize hardships and real issues. We’ll see how it plays.

  2. Interesting….Somehow I knew that Daniel Henney would end up playing an adoptee one day. I wonder how it will all turn out…Even if the movie sucks, I’ll still see it just to see his gorgeous, er, assets.
