Today's blog post is a reflection on what I'm calling my adoptee genealogy - those other adoptees who supported and encouraged me in my own adoptee consciousness. I am who I am today because of these adoptees - so yes, I am name-dropping a lot! Thanks to Sandy White Hawk, John Raible, Robert O'Connor, Kim Park Nelson, @sunyungshin, Amanda Baden, Gina Samuels, Mary Mason, and @thesusanito for your friendship, mentoring, and example when I was a newbie. Happy Lunar New Year! Happy Seollal! Happy Tet! May the year of the rabbit/cat bring you many blessings and much joy! Sharing the post from @adopteeson Friends, I'm so honored to share my episode on @adopteeson In my most recent Lab Note, I reflect on the importance of seeing Asians in media and film and talk about how much I loved seeing Michelle Yeoh and Ke Huy Quan win Golden Globe awards for their roles in Everything Everywhere All At Once.
