What I’m reading

Almost done:

Fugitive Visions by Jane Jeong Trenka, the new memoir from the author of The Language of Blood. It is beautiful and haunting. I am always excited to read another book by an adult transracial adoptee.

On the dock:

Kinship by Design by Ellen Herman, who also maintains the Adoption History Project.

KBD cover 300w

and International Adoption: Global Inequalities and the Circulation of Children, edited by Diana Marre and Laura Briggs.

Author: JaeRan

Assistant professor at UW Tacoma, writer, and researcher.
