Being adopted and “very Asian”

Michelle Li is a Korean adoptee journalist who went viral in January when a viewer told her she was being “very Asian” and to “keep her Korean to herself.” As a result, she started the Very Asian foundation to support AAPI programs and initiatives.

I had the pleasure of talking with Michelle last week when the two of us were interviewed by Eric Wilson-Edge for the UW Tacoma’s podcast, Paw’d Defiance.
